Human Resources Manager, FT

Responsibilities:

Under the direction of the Casino General Manager, plan, direct and coordinate human resource management activities of the organization to maximize the strategic use of human resources and maintain functions such as employee compensation, recruitment, personnel policies and regulatory compliance while preserving the confidentiality of all personnel records and company information. Serve as a link between management and employees by handling questions, interpreting and administering contracts and helping resolve work-related problems. Advise managers on organizational policy matters such as equal employment opportunity and sexual harassment and recommend needed changes. This position is a generalist type position and is required to maintain and manage all areas of HR including recruitment, training and development, file and data maintenance, legal compliance, benefits, unemployment and employee relations.

Requirements:

Ability to provide guidance and feedback to help others strengthen specific knowledge/skill areas. Ability to accept responsibility and account for his/her actions. Ability to utilize the available time to organize and complete work within given deadlines. Ability to pay attention to the minute details of a project or task. Associate's Degree (two year college or technical school) plus two to four years related experience. Human Resource experience will be considered in place of college degree. Must be confident using computers, Microsoft Office, Outlook and Human Resources Software.
