Responsibilities:
Frontline customer service cashier.
• Provides excellent customer service to improve the experience of our guests.
• Controls and safeguards all cash/cash equivalents during assigned shift. (Cash, Coin, Checks, Chips, Tokens, Jackpot/Fill/Coupon/Promo/Redemption slips, Gift Certificates, Prize Tickets.)
• Processes Chip, Coin, Token redemption for customers and Currency for Currency exchanges.
• Processes Credit Card Cash Advance and Check Guarantee transactions for customers.
• Pays out Taxable’s and ensures all paperwork is completed.
• Records all transactions on Computer Accountability Program, and verifies balance to actual inventory balance.
• Must maintain a record with minimal variances. All variances subject to investigation by Department Manager, Accounting Officers, and or Gaming Department Internal Audit.
• Complies with all Policies/Regulations/Control Standards. (IRS Title 31 and Suspicious Activity reporting, NIGC Minimum Internal Control Standards, Department Policy and Procedures.
Requirements:
• Should have good customer relation skills.
• Must qualify for Tribal Gaming License.
• Ability to follow directions, written or oral.
• Indian Preference.
• Must pass pre-employment drug screen test.
• Must be age 18 and older.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
• Current California Driver’s license.
• Must pass pre-employment drug screen.
• Must qualify for Tribal Gaming License.
PREFFERED QUALIFICATIONS:
• Prior cashier or money handling experience.
• Computer experience and working knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
